Joao Palinha is returning to the Premier League with Tottenham!
Spurs haven’t had the greatest window in terms of amount of players in, but the ones they have signed, are brilliant pieces of business.
I don’t think anybody would’ve predicted after just one year at Bayern, that Palinha would be returning to the Premier League. Simply due to the fact, every club in England had such high admiration of him.
Amazing piece of business by Tottenham, to go with the signing of Mohammed Kudus.
Spurs definitely need more depth this window though, if they want to compete in the Champions League/compete to return to the Champions League next season.
Manchester United Movement
Deals like this don’t come up often, where an immensely talented midfielder becomes available for a cut price. This is why I believe Manchester United have to learn from Tottenham, and make a move for Douglas Luiz.
It might not be Manchester United’s main priority, but it’s still one of the areas that eventually needed to be addressed. If it comes down to it, I would put the goalkeeper signing on the back burner, to address their midfield issues. Douglas Luiz would also perfectly fit the archetype of player Ruben Amorim is going for this window, Premier League proven.
It feels like a no brainer to me for Manchester United, but with the rumours quieting, and the Red Devils opting for the expensive Sesko signing over Ollie Watkins, a Douglas Luiz deal feels like a pipe dream.
